This annual conference will provide healthcare professionals valuable information while caring for the most fragile neonates and supporting mothers and families throughout the perinatal period. This year's conference will focus on topics such as leading with heart through change and challenge;, implementation of trio rounding; palliative and supportive care; parent panel : families that have experienced pregnancy loss; burnout prevention and coping skills; decompression; perinatal mood and anxiety disorders; and understanding , appreciating, and learning from generational differences .

Understand the difference between Burnout and Compassion Fatigue Analyze and discuss the different prevention strategies to combat Burnout, Compassion Fatigue, and reduce stress

Create a personalized Self-care Needs Plan that prioritizes the Six Types of Self-care" Participants will learn strategies to recognize, navigate, and prevent conflict in their work environment.

Charge nurses will learn to recognize and address contributors of moral distress and professional stress in their environment.

Participants will learn wellness, communication, and stress first aid techniques to better care for themselves, their patients, and their peers. "

Identify the signs and symptoms of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) under the PMADs umbrella including perinatal anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and psychosis."

Gain an understanding of the lived experiences of maternal mental health and apply this understanding as a source of inspiration and support to mothers and birthing people.

Broadly describe treatment options for PMADs within UPMC and how to refer patients for treatment.

The different generations and how their Generational Signposts shape their expectation of the workplace
