This journal club reviews the current evidence comparing etomidate and ketamine as induction agents for emergency intubation in critically ill adults, with a focus on hemodynamic effects, adrenal suppression, and mortality outcomes. Participants will examine key randomized trials and meta-analyses to better inform evidence-based induction agent selection in non-trauma ICU and ED patients.
