This program will explain functional decline in the older adult and why it poses a risk during hospitalization. Mobility assessment tools will be reviewed. Interventions to improve mobility and reduce fall risk in the hospitalized older adult will be explored.
Target Audience
Healthcare professionals, nurses, physicians, students, residents, PT/OT, care management, social work and all other interested care providers.

3. Discuss intervention to assess and preserve mobility during hospitalization.
