• Use guidelines to differentiate between lower-risk and higher-risk alcohol use.

• Recognize the signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication and overdose.

• Identify the pharmacotherapies available for management of alcohol use and alcohol use disorder (AUD).

• Discuss the risks and benefits of pharmacotherapies approved for treatment of AUD
