The UPMC CCEHS offers ABA MOC to a select number of activities meeting the board requirements. These activities will have the following statement, "This activity contributes to the CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology™ (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®. Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA 2.0 requirements."

For activities meeting the board requirements for ABA Patient Safety, the statement will indicate that, "This activity offers up to 1.0 CME credits, of which 1.0 credits contribute to the patient safety CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology™ (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®. Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA 2.0 requirements."

To have your completion of an ABA approved activity transmitted to the board, please add your Date of Birth and Board/Board ID number to your UPMC CCEHS CME profile.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Credits cannot be awarded retroactively. For this reason, if you were not awarded CME credit or your CCE account, http://cce.upmc.com, did not identify you as an ABA diplomate and include your Date of Birth (DOB) and Board ID, we are unable to transfer your credits.
