Basic Airway Management 10.17.25 8:00am-12:00pm
This course will provide attendees an introduction to airway management in critically ill patients.

Learning Objectives
The learner will be able to identify available resources.
The learner will be able to discuss the importance calling resources for assistance with difficult airway.
The learner will be able to demonstrate aggressive suctioning techniques for intubation in GI/Variceal bleeding patients.
The learner will be able to discuss ways to mitigate aspiration and unintended emesis.
The learner will be understand alternative strategies for patient positioning to improve anatomical views during laryngoscopy.
The learner will be able to demonstrate and utilize the 3-3-2 , LEMON, and other pre-intubation patient assessments to predict difficulty of airway management.
