This class will prepare the burn step down nurse on how to care for a burn patient.
Target Audience
RN's caring for a burn patient.
Learning Objectives
The participant will be able to discuss the management of a burn patient on 11E and burn care emergencies.
The participant will be able to demonstrate how to apply a burn dressing and wash a burn face.
The participant will be to describe the importance of nutritional supplements in the healing of burn wounds.
The participant will be able to discuss the goals of physical therapy and occupational therapy in the burn patient recovery.
