Target Audience

Community Providers specifically pediatricians, family practice, general internal physicians and PT/OT/Speech therapists who would see individuals with Down syndrome in their practices.

 

Learning Objectives

1. Increased understanding of preventative measures for individuals with Down Syndrome across the lifespan.

 

2. Develop a process for evaluating functional decline in an individual with Down syndrome.

 

3. Develop a framework for evaluation and management of dysfunctional behavior in individuals with Down syndrome.
