CCRN Test Prep April 2026
This educational session is designed for PICU, CICU, and NICU nurses preparing for the CCRN certification exam. The session will provide a comprehensive review of core critical care content, including complex hemodynamics, respiratory and cardiac management, neurologic and endocrine considerations, and evidence-based interventions. Participants will engage in case-based discussions, practice questions, and strategies to enhance both test-taking skills and clinical decision-making.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the learner will be able to:
- Apply pediatric pathophysiology, hemodynamics, and pharmacology principles relevant to critically ill children
- Demonstrate Critical Thinking by analyzing complex clinical scenarios to identify patient deterioration and prioritize interventions using evidence-based practices.
- Describe current guidelines and best practices for ventilator management, sedation, shock, and other common PICU conditions.
- Apply strategies to effectively communicate critical information with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.
