This is the third session of a five-part course that prepares nurses with the knowledge and tools to successfully lead the unit as a charge nurse.
Target Audience
This course is open to experienced nurses at UPMC St. Margaret who have been identified by unit leadership as ready to be trained as a charge nurse.

- Understand the staff support program CISM
- Recall the role of the charge nurse in improving the patient experience
