CHP Residency Facilitator Workshop
Our Residency facilitators play an integral role in meeting goals for our organization. This activity is designed to expand their knowledge and professional development through workshops such as this one to help them meet the expectations of their role.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the learner will be able to:
- list at least 3 roles of a Residency Facilitator.
- list 2-3 challenging characteristics of Nurse Residents, as well as 1-2 ways to manage each of these
- list 1-2 resources available to them if they need assistance.
In support of improving patient care, the University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
The maximum number of hours awarded for this Continuing Nursing Education activity is 3.0 contact hours.
Other health care professionals will receive a certificate of attendance confirming the number of contact hours commensurate with the extent of participation in this activity.
