Condition Support – Introduction to New Hospital Initiative for Support and Assistance in Management of Aggressive Behavior
Heathcare providers at any time will be faced with a patient or family member that has aggressive behavior. This education will be an introduction and review of Condition Support – a CHP effort to provide resources when addressing such situations as aggressive, escalated, hostile, assaultive and/or threatening behaviors by patient or visitor at UPMC. Overview of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health resources will be provided.

Following the presentation the learner will ne able to:
- Identify resources to help manage the following situations: aggressive, escalated, hostile, assaultive and/or threatening behaviors by patients or visitors at UPMC. Identify inpatient resources available to CHP APP team.
- Identify outpatient resources available to CHP APP team.
