This course was designed to prepare nurses to sit for the Certified Pediatric Hematology.Oncology Nurses exam.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, the learner will be able to:

  • Identify appropriate resources for preparing for the CPHON exam

  • Identify appropriate test-taking strategies.

  • Describe care concepts identified in CPHON test content outline provided by ONCC.

  • Apply concepts related to the diagnosis, care, and management of patients with sickle cell disease and hemophilia.

  • Apply concepts related to the diagnosis, care, and management of patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, ewing’s sarcoma, medulloblastoma, high risk neuroblastoma, hodgkin’s lymphoma, and acute myelogenous leukemia.
