Clinical Resource Management (CRM) is a multidisciplinary group under the leadership of physician leader, clinical analytics nurse leader, and a clinical nurse specialist/systems analyst. CRM reviews new and revised clinical effectiveness guidelines (CEGs), clinical pathways (CPs), and referral guidelines (RGs) as they pertain to quality clinical care. These documents support local and national quality priorities. Related metrics are presented and analyzed. Nurse-driven protocols are also occasionally implemented with oversight by CRM.
