DMV-P Liver Transplant Anesthesia Meeting 2026
Update the audience on recent advances in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), lung transplantation, and robotic kidney transplantation. Update the audience on new approaches in the assessment and perioperative management of patients with acute liver failure. Recognize the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to liver transplantation, including Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols and psychiatric optimization during the preoperative workup. Review current evidence and evolving perspectives on alcohol-associated hepatitis and its implications for liver transplantation candidacy and outcomes.
