Enhancing Teaching Skills for Medical Educators (Online): Feedback for One, Learning for All: Giving Feedback in Front of a Group

"Feedback for One, Learning for All: Giving Feedback in Front of a Group" is a learning module created for medical educators as part of the “Enhancing Teaching Skills Lunchtime Webinar Series.”  The goal of this series is to enhance core teaching and scholarship skills for medical educators of both medical students and residents throughout the UPMC system.  The webinar series occurs live through Microsoft Teams from 12:00-1:00PM every other month during the academic year. Target Audience

Medical educators of both medical students and residents. 

Learning Objectives

  • Identify when individual feedback in a group setting is appropriate
  • Review best practices for giving individual student feedback in a group setting of their peers and engaging in “think and write” activities for practice
  • Discuss an approach to common case examples
