Golden Hour for Extremely Premature Neonates: Background review and proposed guidelines

 Multiple complex decisions and tasks need to be completed in a brief time period following birth of a very premature infant to provide the best chances for survival and decreased morbidity. A standardized interprofessional team approach, effective communication and enhanced performance by utilization of "Golden Hour" strategies across all medical disciplines can improve these outcomes. This course reviews the" Golden Hour Strategies"
