Learning Objectives

Identify gratitude from a patient or family by recognizing verbal or physical cues.

Understand general mechanics behind grateful patient engagement so that when a situation is presented, an APP may respond accordingly.

Understand the Development Office role and function so that APPs may be educated on the benefits of a partnership.

Identify partnership opportunities between APPs and the Development Office  which would result in improved, voluntary grateful patient identification.
