Target Audience

Physicians

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the Haiku and Canto Training, participants should be able to:

1) Use the application by understanding how to download, provision, and access it on their mobile devices,

2) use the suite of accompanying dictation devices that work with Haiku and Canto, i.e., Dragon Medical One, and Abridge,

3) identify the capabilities of the application by understanding the buttons and menus and how to access features and areas in Epic as they would normally access in the hyperspace version of Epic only on the compact version of Epic, i.e. Haiku and Canto;

4) apply what they have learned by using the application proficiently during the workday with the ability to view patient schedules, charts, place orders, dictate notes, respond to patient and staff messages, view results, capture clinical photos, and basically any other feature that they would normally need to use in the regular hyperspace desktop version of Epic,

5) identify where self-guided training materials are accessed on the UPMC Infonet as a reference.
