This presentation will provide an overview of NCSF research, training, and dissemination projects with the goal of generating discussion on potential areas of synergy between PaRC and NCFS investigators. The NCFS was launched in 2019 with funding from ACL/NIDILRR. The overarching goal of NCFS is to advance the science of caregiving for persons with disabilities (including those with serious illness) while simultaneously disseminating existing (and center generated) evidence-based resources to increase access to state-of-the-art family caregiver support (caregiving.pitt.edu). Our interdisciplinary team draws from the Schools of the Health Sciences (Nursing, Rehab Sciences, Medicine), UCSUR, and the Health Policy Institute.
