    Learning Objectives

    The learner will be able to:

    1. Identify key components of the history of oncology nurse navigation and the oncology nurse navigation care model.
    2. Understand the oncology nurse navigator’s core competencies, scope of practice, job role, and responsibilities.
    3. Describe the aspects of oncology nurse navigation surrounding professional practice, including national and international professional organizations, evidence-based practice resources, patient advocacy, and professional development.
