Management of Patients in the CVOR During Heart Transplantation
This learning activity will give registered nurses the knowledge they need to be able to identify and help treat pathophysiological changes in their post-transplant patients. It will also improve multidisciplinary communication between CVOR staff and CICU/7A bedside staff.

After attending this event, the learner will be able to:
- Describe normal operating procedures during the pre-bypass period in the cardiac operating room
- Differentiate between the processes of aortic cross clamping and circulatory arrest
- Describe and implement how to asses a patient pre and post heart transplant
