Medicare 101

July 22, 2020

This program reviews Medicare basics including Part A, B, C and D.  We will also review the stages of prescription drug coverage, the Medicare advantage enrollment timeline and some special assistance programs based on income.

Target Audience

Nurses, social workers, and case managers are encouraged to attend.

By the completion of this session, participants should be able to: 

  1. Define Medicare and 4 basic parts
  2. Understand the Stages of Prescription coverage for 2020
  3. Understand Medicare Advantage enrollment timeline
  4. Learn about Assistance programs based on Income
