MI Skills Building: Person-centered Approach for Shared Decision Making_Enduring

This 60-minute self-paced “Person-centered Approach for Shared Decision Making” training will support clinicians in a person-centered approach for shared decision-making conversations. The course will provide learners with an overview of shared decision making and how to use the four processes of Motivational Interviewing and how to engage members in conversations appropriate for shared decision making. There will be both demonstration and practice through case study applicable to learner’s settings.
 
SPECIAL NOTE:
There is no educational content to this course. This course is designed to supplement training that has already occurred. This course is designed to only administer the post-test and collect CME evaluations.

  • Recognize situations in your respective discipline that would be best-suited for Shared Decision Making.
  • Employ the Motivational Interviewing (MI) approach as appropriate in the process of shared decision making.
