ForwardMuffin Monday: SSI Reduction
Current practice has not been consistent in alignment with SSI reduction efforts - staff need education regarding best practices to prevent SSIs. Staff do not always recognize complications that may lead to SSIs - Staff need education to more effectively evaluate patient status for SSI risk. This program will review best practices for SSI reduction, how to evaluate for SSI and how to recognize complications from SSIs.

Learning Objectives
- Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to identify all components of the transplant SSI reduction bundle.
- Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to evaluate patients for complications associated with increased risk for SSI.
- Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to appropriately implement all infection prevention measures for transplant patients.
