Neonatal Nursing Fellowship Class- Cardiac and Respiratory
This course was designed to provide education on the medical management of patients in the NICU with cardiac and respiratory issues.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the learner will be able to:
- Identify the anatomy of congenital heart defects in the newborn
- Describe the cycle of PPHN and the action of nitric oxide on the pulmonary vasculature
- Identify landmarks, tubes, lines, and radiographic findings on neonatal x-rays
- Describe appropriate ventilation strategies utilized for the neonatal patient
- Create evidence table for a literature review and appraise the evidence.
