This course will review the complexity of genetic malformations in newborns and the complexity of psychosocial issues in nicu families

Upon completion of this course the learner will be able to
- Describe dysmorphic features present in neonates with common genetic syndromes.
- Describe genetic changes that lead to genetic disease processes.
- Discuss how having a premature baby impacts the family unit. List two resources that help support families in the NICU.
