Neonatal Nursing Fellowship Class- Metabolic and Nutrition
This program will help nurse fellows gain knowledge of nutritional needs, anticipate patients nutritional needs and communicate the needs to the interdisciplinary team

Following this course, the nurse will be able to:
Discuss nursing care priorities related to common NICU procedures
Apply breastfeeding support techniques to a given case scenario
Describe the use of clinical feeding evaluations for NICU patients
Discuss the nutritional needs of preterm and term infants
Calculate GIR and apply it to case scenarios
