This course was designed to increase a nurse's knowledge dealing with interventions for the care of a neonate with a renal or neurologic problem

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, the learner will be able to: 

  • Discuss the clinical presentation of a neonate with acute kidney injury
  • Describe common neonatal renal and neurologic problems.
  • Identify abnormalities on neonatal EEG tracings
  • Discuss the pathophysiology of Neonatal Hypoxic brain injury.
