Neonatal Nursing Fellowship Class- Transition and Support
This program will review newborn transitions to help the nurse fellow apply appropriate interventions and advocate for the patient to the medical team.

Following this course the learner will be able to
1. State three supportive measures that are utilized to help a newborn transition.
2. Describe the care of a NOWS mother/infant dyad in the parent partnership unit.
3. Discuss the process of neonatal transport in the UPMC system.
4. Name four maternal issues that impact the developing fetus.
5. Validate and define a neonatal clinical problem.
6. Participate in a neonatal resuscitation scenario.
