Nursing Trauma Course
This Course is a required class for new nurses who will be caring for trauma patient at UPMC Mercy to take within one year of hire. This is requirement of the Pennsylvania Trauma System Foundation as a Level 1 trauma center in the state of Pennsylvania

In support of improving patient care, the University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
