OAPP Grand Rounds - Research for APPs (WISER)

Providers have a knowledge gap on basic research principles and reasons why to pursue research.

Target Audience

  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners (CRNPs)

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Provide a general overview of basic, clinical, translational and implementation science.
  • Illustrate reasons to pursue research projects in addition to your clinical practice.
  • Highlight advanced practice provider scientists and their work within the UPMC system.
