Target Audience
Physician, Physician-Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Social Worker, and any other Health Care Worker
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Define the term Second Victim.
- Identify high risk scenarios occurring in healthcare that increase an employees risk of being a Second Victim
- Outline the goals of the UPMC CISM ASAP Staff Support Program.
- Outline the differences between an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and the UPMC CISM ASAP Staff Support Program.
