PA AAP Oral Health in Your Office - Cornerstone Care 4.6.21

The Oral Health in Your Office training provides information on integrating oral health screenings, risk assessment, and fluoride varnish application into pediatric wellness visits. It provides support around reimbursement for fluoride varnish application for children under 5, which is now covered by both private and Medicaid insurers. The training enables physicians to become eligible to receive Medicaid reimbursement and also provides them with educational materials and fluoride varnish samples.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Target Audience

Medical office physicians, advanced practice providers (CRNP, PA-C), RNs, LPNs

Learning Objectives

This training is to educate medical office providers and nursing staff on basic oral health prevention, including the use of topical fluoride varnish. By the end of the program, providers will be able to apply and bill for the application of topical fluoride varnish.
