Perinatal and Neonatal Loss
This education session will provide discharge planning staff members ( nurses and social workers) with a general overview perinatal and neonatal loss. This presentation will discuss how to care for bereaved families, highlight resources available to patients and their families, and explore the unique grief process of this population. Furthermore, the Bereavement Coordinator's role will be reviewed and how this position supports perinatal loss patients and our hospital staff members.
