Perioperative Nursing Conference 2022
CHP is starting to provide more types of surgeries to patients that many nurses have not previously cared for, impacting the nursing care and requiring more education to nurses based on new surgery types or updates to current practices. This course will review mangled extremities and stages of anesthesia.

Upon completion of the conference the learner will be able to
List implications of interventions required for patients with mangled extremities including but not limited to pressure injury prevention, neurovascular checks and pain control.
List differences between general anesthesia and sedation including stages of anesthesia
