This program will introduce nurses to the Clinical Pathways used at UPMC: Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
1.Describe the benefits of standardization for common pediatric and young adult conditions
2.Identify drivers of sustainability
3.Recognize how clinical pathways extend outside of the hospital to the entire care continuum
In support of improving patient care, the University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
