Physician Resources: Pediatric Asthma
In this CME, Kristina Gaietto, MD, discusses how to optimize outcomes for children with persistent asthma by knowing how and when to initiate asthma maintenance therapy and follow asthma management guidelines to step up therapy for children with suboptimally controlled asthma. Dr. Gaietto also presents on how to increase utilization of Single Maintenance and Reliever Therapy for children with moderate persistent asthma, which has been associated with reduction in asthma exacerbations, plus how to identify common non-asthma causes of childhood wheeze.
