PICU staff teaching: Neuro Management

This course was created to educate learners on the managment of arrest situations because there is little practice in classroom time. Stations include the following to educate staff in areas of weakness: Neuro assessment, SIADH/DI, Traumatic Brain management as well as Arctic Sun and Temperature management

All four stations must be successfully completed in order to claim your credit.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, the learner will be able to:

  • identify sodium disorders.
  • describe how to use the arctic sun to manage temperature.
  • perform neuro exam and identify changes that need reported to the MD.
