PICU Transplant Talk: Liver Pathway
With many transplant patients in the PICU, and many newer nurses arriving, This course will review the liver pathway for transplant patients. Nurses will identify when it is necessary to reach out to CCM or Transplant team with any changes in a patient's status. Nurses will identify important elements of the liver pathway and be prepared to care for these patients during the postoperative period.
Following the presentation on the Liver Pathways:
- Complete quiz - must pass with an 80% or greater
- Complete evaluation

Following this course, the nurse will describe unique elements related to care of transplant patients in the PICU.
Following this course the nurse will describe the liver pathway for postoperative transplant patients.
