This four-part series is an advanced training series for preceptors at UPMC St. Margaret that focuses on the roles and responsibilities of the preceptor.
Target Audience
This course is open to nurses who serve as preceptors within UPMC St. Margaret.

- Verbalize the understanding of the adult learning theories, clinical teaching strategies, the CURE model, and strategies for assessing and promoting critical thinking
- Demonstrate adapting to different learning styles, debriefing, and coaching prioritization and critical thinking through simulation-based education as a teacher/coach and facilitator
