Pressure Injury Prevention Fair 9/11/2024
This course was designed to provide resources, education, and strategies to staff that can be used to prevent and treat pressure injuries.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the learner will be able to:
- verbalize resources for pressure injury prevention basics and follow the Pressure injury prevention K-Card
- verbalize pressure injury prevention basics
- define when an ostomy appliance needs changed
- verbalize how often to assess and rotate high risk devices
- identify high risk pressure points and when a pressure injury is forming
- identify high risk patients that should require a specialty mattresses
- identify how to order a specialty mattresses in Cerner
- list supplies used for ostomy application and removal
