The Project Management Training for Research Professionals is a nine-hour course developed by the Clinical and Translational Institute at the University of Pittsburgh to introduce tools and strategies of project management.

Research professionals within the Pitt/UPMC academic research community including investigators, coordinators, and research staff

Session 7: Meeting Management
- Create an effective agenda and identify tips for meeting productivity
- Lead a brainstorming technique
Session 8: Problem Solving
- Analyze problems systematically
- Create process maps and fishbone diagrams and use the 5 Whys method of determining root cause
Session 9: Decision Making
- Lead activities for group decision making
- Use a criterion-based decision-making approach
