Target Audience

Nursing

Learning Objectives

Utilizing the Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Review and Resource manual, this session will provide education and review of knowledge to registered nurses preparing for their psychiatric nursing certification test. This session will also have two areas of focus, the first being nursing theory, therapeutic relationships and communication, cultural competence. The second focus will be professional nursing standards, scope of practice, and   Psychiatric - Mental Health Professional Standard
