Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to identify the major forms of interpersonal violence, and the types of behaviors abusers employ to control victims. Participants will be able to identify the effects of trauma due to exposure to interpersonal violence. Participants will be able to identify, respond to, and refer patients experiencing trauma due to exposure to interpersonal violence to appropriate services. Participants will be able to identify and employ safer bystander intervention techniques.
