Learning Objectives
Recognize the role of radiation therapy in the treatment of breast cancer. Understand the newer standards of care allowing for shorter treatment options compared to older, lengthy treatment methods. The attendee will be able to give therapeutic guidance to their patient on the treatment options and walk them through the step-by-step process. This will better prepare the patient for pre and post radiation therapy.
