At the conclusion of this activity,
- Participants should be able to identify signs, contributing factors, and potential impacts of moral distress among nursing staff within clinical practice environments.
- Participants should be able to describe evidence-based strategies used to mitigate moral distress, including structured debriefing, resilience-building techniques, and bundled intervention approaches.
- Participants should be able to recognize situations in which peers may be experiencing moral distress and differentiate appropriate intervention and support strategies. At the conclusion of this activity,
- Participants should be able to apply practical tools and communication techniques to support peers experiencing moral distress in real-time clinical settings.
- Participants should be able to implement evidence-based debriefing and support strategies within unit workflows to promote team well-being and psychological safety.
- Participants should be able to evaluate opportunities within their practice environment to strengthen proactive, team-based approaches for addressing moral distress and supporting staff resilience.
