The presentation will focus on the emerging threat of vaccine preventable diseases in an era of decreasing immunization. Dr. Nowalk will focus on reacquainting the audience with typical presentations of measles, mumps, and pertussis, which providing updated epidemiology and management. The focus will be on recognition and initial triage in the school-based setting, with a strong flavor of how to protect yourself as a provider in these unfamiliar situations.
