Resilience in Challenging Times
Join UPMC Senior Services for a virtual event to learn more about staying connected to your resilient attributes, accepting your reactions, acknowledging your experience, and engaging in activities that will encourage you through and beyond these challenging times to support patient care.
This event will help you answer some questions that are vital to your well-being during this pandemic:
- What is resilience and why does it matter?
- What can I do to enhance my resilience?
Target Audience
This program will provide helpful information for the entire interprofessional team. Physicians, nurses, social workers, dietary, housekeeping, medical assistants, physical, occupational and respiratory therapists, residents and nursing students are encouraged to attend.
Learning Objectives
Course Objectives:
Gain a further understanding of resilience and why it matters in providing care during challenging times.
Develop skills to enhance self resilience in order to promote resilience as healthcare professional during challenging times.
