This presentation will discuss the nursing assessment and interventions of caring for a patient who had a traumatic injury due to fireworks. A discussion on the type of injuries caused by a blast.  Safety at firework shows

The nurse will be able to assess a trauma burn patients' extremity for pulses and sensation and movement after a firework injury.

The nurse will assess for blast barotrauma  

Identity safe practices for watching fireworks this 4th of July.
